• Less Weight. Engineered mesh on the upper offers improved comfort and a disappearing feel on your foot. It helps reduce the weight of the shoe while supplying a more consistent fit. And we reduced the size of the heel and tongue, saving you even more weight on your run.
• Light Feel. See how the midsole bulges out by the heel? We designed it that way to help reduce weight on the inside of the foot to give you a more stable ride. We reduced the weight of the outsole by using a thinner rubber compared to the Vaporfly 3. You still get the same reliability, just without any unnecessary thickness.
• What's New About the Vaporfly 4? We took a race car approach when updating the Vaporfly 4, making minor tweaks so you can enjoy major gains. We trimmed inessential weight in the upper, midsole and outsole without sacrificing performance.
